Feedback on the Principals' Workshop 1

How much value did you get from the Principals' Workshop on the 9th of March?
Have you got any suggestions or feedback that could improve of be of value to you and your school for the next workshop?

  1. I have appreciated the time to have our own 'hands on time' and setting up accounts ready to be used back at school.

  2. A really good day for me - lots of ideas and good o catch up with everyone again.
I have clarified my thinking about projectors/IWB's/large LCD TV's and will be gettign a TV per two classrooms with our CTO money asap. Thanks Dave for showing us the bluetooth mouse in action.
We will get a projector per three rooms and do the Mouse and keyboard thing for each teacher.
IWB's - not yet. I am not convinced.
So thanks Disa and Dave for all your continued hard work - very comprehensive notes today Disa.
    cheers
    Greg

  3. thought I would visit the blog again to see if they have a value that I haven't yet found, but I am still unclear about their usefulness - maybe if more people contributed they could get interesting???

  4. Hi All
This is a new thing for me as I have not Blogged before!
Perhaps we need to all sign up at a workshop so we are on the same page and understand just what could be gained from this activity??

  6. Not sure why it didn't work before! That was simple! I enjoyed the day, was interested in the LCD TV screens,I was just about to put in a grant for one of the the lcd teaching stations, but this is half the price. I would like to see them in action in a school, so if anyone is using them ....
I also like the ideas of a bluetooth mouse and keyboard. I agree with Greg about the IWB. They still leave the teacher at the front of the room.

Well done on a fabulous job Disa, your hard work is appreciated.

  7. Hi Bilinda
Esmay Sutherland at Pine Hill School is using an LCD TV screen in innovative ways in her classroom. She would be worthwhile chatting to about its benefits and limitations.

  8. Hi, I found the practical morning session useful and I was paticularly interested in the use of a bluetooth mouse and keyboard. That is an alternative we may look at here wiht either LCD TV screens or just with the data projector. Any local schools using this yet?
